Liibaan Ali Yarow has been named to head the military court in Somalia, according to Dalsan Radio. His predecessor, General Abdurahman Mohamed Tuuryare, had assumed the position earlier this year, but was made head of the intelligence service in September. The result is that the court, whose work has been faulted for failing to meet international norms, will have had three chiefs in less than a year.
