Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo has been provisionally released by the ICC. His conviction on one set of charges was overturned by the Appeals Chamber, by a 3-2 vote, on June 8. Today, a panel hearing the other charges (offenses against the administration of justice) ordered his release. Here is Trial Chamber VII's statement concerning the release order.
