Maj (ret) Navdeep Singh |
Global Military Justice Reform contributor Maj. Navdeep Singh has written
this op-ed about the use and misuse of tribunals in India. It's pertinent to military justice because of concern that the Armed Forces Tribunal is, like some others, located within the ministry whose decisions it is supposed to review? Which court should have appellate review jurisdiction over such a tribunal? Is your answer different if the Supreme Court can review only cases that present issues of widespread importance?
The graphic at right illustrates Maj. Singh's essay.
