reports that efforts will (finally) be made to move forward with a 2011 bill that would transfer the authority of the Supreme Military Court to the Supreme Court of Justice. The bill would create two specialized military criminal courts presided over by civilian judges. It has been bogged down in the Chamber of Deputies' Committee on the Constitution and Codes; the plan is to move it to the Defense Committee.
