Judging by this article by Irfan Ghauri, it's all over but the shouting in Pakistan. An excellent summary of the evolving position of the Pakistan People's Party and how the military courts' revival fits in with other political issues facing the country. Although the PPP wants some assurances about the military courts -- e.g., right to counsel of choice, observers, appellate review -- it's unclear what leverage the party has.
