On August 31, 2015, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces rang down the curtain on its 2014 Term. The court issued opinions in 37 cases over the course of the year. These can be found here. It also ruled on petitions for grant of review (the vast majority of which were denied) and a variety of procedural motions. At present, the five-member court has a vacancy due to the expiration of Chief Judge James E. Baker's term of office. A nomination for his successor has been sent to the Senate.
