Colombian military justice law heads to Constitutional Court, again

The recently-passed Colombian military justice legislation is before the Constitutional Court, as this article reports. The case was initiated by three members of the legislature. The court has invited submissions from a variety of organizations and will hold public hearings on August 6 and 21.

The court invalidated Congress's earlier effort on procedural grounds. Watch this space for word of the court's reaction to the legislators' new attempt.
