The News International has
this account of today's lively proceedings in the case challenging the trial of May 9 civilian protesters in Pakistan's military courts. Among other things, the bench was reduced from seven judges to six after the government's counsel, who had previously expressed no objection to the participation of one of the original judges, changed his position. The remaining judges were not pleased. The hearing resumes on Tuesday.
