For the second time, a former vice chair of China's Central Military Commission has been arrested on suspicion of corruption. The last time this happened, the suspected officer, Xu Caihou, died before he could be tried by court-martial. This time, a trial will presumably ensue, although it is unclear whether it would be in a military or a civilian court. Details can be found in this report. Both the officer, Guo Boxiong, and his wife are in custody.
