The Lawyer's Daily, a Canadian legal paper, has
this account of divergent views as between the Military Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association and the Office of the Judge Advocate General at a well-attended military law conference in Ottawa. The CBA's comments to the JAG's Court Martial Comprehensive Review Team urged that more attention be focused on summary trials, rather than courts-martial, since summary trials account for the lion's share of military justice cases.
