Misuse of military courts in Venezuela

As conditions continue to deteriorate in Venezuela, it is disturbing to read that the authorities have brought civilian protesters before military courts. The overall situation is increasingly volatile, and this will only fuel public discontent. Stay tuned.

Human Rights jurisprudence strongly disfavors the trial of civilians by military courts.
