After a rocky period, Alaska is moving ahead to prepare a modern code of military justice to replace the pre-statehood version it currently has. The problem is that Forrest Dunbar, the lawyer who has accepted orders to Alaska Army National Guard active duty to do the job, has an interest in politics (he's run unsuccessfully for Congress), and announced his new role on his old campaign Facebook page.
