The Uganda Perliament has passed the Uganda People's Defence Force (Amendment) Act, 2025. Among other things, the measure provides for trial of civilians by court-martial, notwithstanding the recent Kabaziguruka decision of the Supreme Court holding that courts-martial may not do so.
