The Marine Corps officer at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021

The criminal complaint filed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in United States v. Christopher Warnagiris can be found here. The defendant, an active duty U.S. Marine Corps major, has pleaded not guilty and was released pending further proceedings, according to this report.

    The question has sometimes come up whether prosecution in the District of Columbia bars prosecution at court-martial on double jeopardy grounds.
