Hot off the press: CAAF Annual Report for the October 2019 Term of Court
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces' annual report for the period ending September 30, 2020 is available here on the court's website. The data are worth studying. The report also includes a handy summary of the court's decisions.
The new CAAF report seems to indicate 369 petitions for review?
The DoD Report for FY 2019 indicates about 1491 trials with about 1226 "referred for review" at a CCA.
The military report for 1991, the year I reported to Code 45 (a year in which we reviewed a little over 3000 cases a year), indicates about 8044 trials of which 1813 resulted in petitions to CAAF.
