USAF to review military justice

Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Kaleth O. Wright, the service's senior enlisted member, has revealed on Facebook that the Air Force will be conducting a "full and independent" review of its administration of military justice. He wrote, "I’m working with General [David L.] Goldfein, first and foremost to have a full and thorough independent review of our military justice system. We will look to uncover where the problem lies, and how we can fix it. We are also working to improve the diversity of our force, especially within the senior ranks."

The plan is in response to both the current demonstrations growing out of the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis last week and presumably also a recent report by Protect Our Defenders on its efforts to obtain information on racial disparities in Air Force military justice.
