Morocco follows through on reforms

Morocco enacted military justice reform legislation in 2015 forbidding the trial of civilians in military courts. There was a question, however, what the country would do with past or pending cases. Now the Court of Cassation has ordered new civilian trial for 24 Polisario Front civilians who were sentenced in 2013 to 20 years in jail for offenses committed at Gdim Izeik.
