Judicial independence at Guantánamo

Military Commission Judge James L. Pohl has lifted his no-touching order, but, according to this article by the indefatigable Carol Rosenberg, may be waiting for some sort of remedial action that would undo the taint left by critical comments from the Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the course of a congressional hearing last year.
