A federal district judge in Washington, DC has ordered the U.S. Army not to single out a Sikh soldier for specialized testing of his helmet and gas mask. The decision in Singh v. Carter, Civil No. 16-399, can be found here. Judge Beryl A. Howell concluded that "the public has a significant interest in having a diverse military, reflective of the composition of our country and accepting of religious minorities."
