Tell Uncle Sam if you have a reform suggestion

The Joint Service Committee on Military Justice is an inter-service body that generates and evaluates proposals for changes in the U.S. military justice system. The JSC has just published its annual invitation for suggestions in the Federal Register. "The committee invites members of the public to suggest changes to the Manual for Courts-Martial. Please provide supporting rationale for any proposed changes." Comments can be submitted until April 11, 2014 the old-fashioned way or online. Comments can be viewed on the government's regulations.gov website. (There's already been one.)

The JSC's point of contact is Major Daniel C. Mamber, Chief of Joint Services Policy and Legislation Section, Military Justice Division, AFLOA/JAJM, 1500 West Perimeter Rd., Ste. 1130, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762, 240-612-4828.

Thanks to Zachary D Spilman at CAAFlog for publicizing the JSC's notice.

Postscript: e-filing is very easy, but there is a word limit.
