We learned today that Prof.
Aifheli E. Tshivhase, a notable South African expert in military justice, passed away last June. Dr. Tshivhase was an active participant in reform workshops at Yale Law School, and an insightful and fearless analyst of South African military justice. He was an alumnus of the Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa master's program at the University of Pretoria. He served in the South African National Defence Force and was an International Fellow of the National Institute of Military Justice. An obituary appears
