State military justice watch

Did you know Michigan has a Military Appeals Tribunal? Here's word of a retired state judge who has been appointed to a four-year term on the court (which has yet to hear a case).

  1. "...Bronson explained that he is working with a Judge Advocate General Officer to help streamline the process while making adjustments to military laws as necessary..."

How fair is that? Why should a judge be made to work with someone representing the executive/Govt?

  2. Good question, Navdeep. These state systems are very small and the danger of institutional incest is considerable.
