This afternoon's online New York Times has this follow-up article about the controversial letter signed by 43 Israel Defence Force reservists who announced their objection to intelligence-gathering actions against Palestinians. Other reservists have disassociated themselves from the letter, and the military has indicated disciplinary action will be taken. Israel (like the United States) does not recognize selective conscientious objection.
