Fourteen Sierra Leone Armed Forces soldiers are on trial for mutiny, a capital offense under Sierra Leone law. They have pleaded not guilty and have been denied bail. "The soldiers were arrested in August 2013 on suspicions they were planning a meeting aimed at destabilizing the democratically elected government."
