Thai junta replaces martial law

Thailand's military government is replacing the current martial law regime, as reported here. What remains unclear is whether civilians will continue to be subject to trial in military courts. In one recent case, a civilian received a 25-year sentence for violating the country's harsh lèse majesté legislation.
