Yassine Ayari, a blogger who is critical of the Tunisian government and is jailed as a result, wins a seat in parliament representing expatriates in Germany. Tunisian authorities charge him -- in absentia -- in military court (even though he's a civilian) with insulting the president of the republic and undermining the dignity of the army. This effectively prevents him from returning to the country to assume his seat in Parliament. Huffpost Tunisia has the story here.
