Spanish Supreme Court: discipline and hierarchy set limits to freedom of expression

The Military Chamber of the Spanish Supreme Court decided against a member of the Civil Guard who had challenged an order of his superior on the grounds that complying with it went beyond the bounds of the statute that protects citizen's personal information.  The Military Chamber argued that members of the Civil Guard have the right of freedom of expression but limited by the codes and principles of the Armed Institute, especially the principles of discipline and respect of military hierarchy.
