Australian Defence Force sexual abuse and military justice response by end of 2014

The Defence, Foreign Affairs and Trade Committee of the Australian Senate has declined to recommend a royal commission to look into abuse in the Australian Defence Force, provoking powerful dissents by two of its members. The government could still decide to convene a royal commission. According to this account,
The eighth report of the DART [Defence Abuse Response Taskforce] is due to be released soon and the government is expected to make a detailed response to the task force and the broader issue of military justice before the end of the year.
The Committee's report, Processes to support victims of abuse in Defence, can be found here.
