There's been an unfortunate turn of events in Papua New Guinea. The members of the Defence Force are in military custody in connection with the death of a senior police officer, apparently related to the COVID-19
emergency liquor ban. The suspects face both civilian and military proceedings, according to
this account. For a time there was a
