Congratulations to the participants. This is an important topic, and too often overlooked by military law commentators. It's disappointing that not a single active duty Canadian JAG officer attended.
Regrettably, we had a tight budget for this workshop. The document we generated is a starting point for further consultations, and I hope that Canadian Forces legal personnel will give the draft a good scrub and participate actively in what I hope will be future discussions under other auspices. Indeed, perhaps the JAG would sponsor a second convening on the subject.
