J.B. Pritzker has signed Senate Bill 2076, amending the Illinois Code of Military Justice. The enrolled bill can be found
here. The measure is effective immediately. The purpose of the new law is to bring the state's code into sync with the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Watch for other states to pass comparable legislation in light of the federal Military Justice Act of 2016.
