Fallout of the Argüelles case

Argentina will pay $88,000 to a group of soldiers who were held in preventive detention for as long as seven years during the 1980s. In 2014, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights had ruled in the soldiers' favor in Argüelles v. Argentina, as Global Military Justice Reform contributor Christina Cerna reported here.
