A judge of the High Court of Uganda at Kampala has ruled that General
David Sejusa must be deemed no longer in the Army (as he had contended) because he has not been paid or give any duties for over a year. The ruling is important because Gen. Sejusa is facing charges in a court-martial, and presumably that case would go away if he is no longer a serving officer. The Uganda People's Defence Force has vowed to take the case to the Court of Appeal. Details
