This dog won't hunt

Libération reports here that a 27-year-old Thai man has been taken into custody and charged by the military prosecutor under the country's lèse majesté law for, among other offenses, making fun of a royal dog on Facebook. The king's pet, Thong Daeng, is featured on a series of Thai postage stamps.

Cute dog, but really! In the competition for misuse of military courts, Thailand is breaking new records.
