Measure that would expand military jurisdiction moves ahead in Colombian Senate

The First Committee of the Colombian Senate has approved a bill that would expand military jurisdiction. The measure goes now to the full body. The Constitutional Court last year invalidated an earlier, more restrictive bill on procedural grounds.
