Photos in uniform become an issue in a congressional campaign

What are the limits on a congressional candidate's use of photos that show her in uniform? That issue has emerged in the case of retired Air Force fighter pilot Col. Martha E. McSally, who is running for Congress in Arizona a second time. TucsonSentinel.com has the story here.

While on active duty Col. McSally, objected to being required to wear an abaya while off-base during her assignment to Saudi Arabia. She sued Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld about the policy in 2001, leading Congress to enact corrective legislation that, in her words, "prohibited anyone in the military from requiring or encouraging servicewomen to put on abayas in Saudi Arabia or to use taxpayers' money to buy them."
