A recent short report on the Supreme People's Court website includes an item about the June 9 visit to the court of a delegation of 60 officers from the PLA Air Force. The report noted that they were the first group of senior legal personnel in the PLA Air Force (including Xing Hongbo, the head of the PLA Air Force military court), to participate in a comprehensive legal training program. Xing is involved with a training program for military judges at Tsinghua University School of Law (one of China's leading law schools), described here (in Chinese).
The news item did not specify, but presumably the group included participants from the Air Force's courts, procurators (analogous to prosecutors, but with great powers), and military security.
The training session and visit to the Supreme People's Court appear to be linked to the Party policy to improve the quality of legal personnel within the PLA and increase interactions between the military and civilian justice systems described in an earlier blogpost.
