Military court for Alexandria shipyard workers

The case of a group of shipyard workers who incited others to strike is in Egyptian military court. The shipyard is controlled by the Ministry of Defense and Military Production. Details here. Human rights jurisprudence strongly disfavors the exercise of military jurisdiction over civilians. Egypt is one of the world's leading violators of this doctrine.
