Ex-president of Lebanon opposes abolition of military court

Michel Sleiman
Ex-President of Lebanon
Former president Michel Sleiman of Lebanon has said that it is absolutely not necessary to abolish the country's military court. This despite widespread dissatisfaction with the court's recent conviction and sentencing of former minister Michel Samaha. He notes that the case should be appealed and that the Military Court of Cassation will have the last word.
