Civilian court takes the Tlatlaya cases

El Nuevo Herald reports that a civilian court has taken responsibility for the case of seven soldiers who are suspected of involvement in the Tlatlaya massacre in which 22 civilians were killed. "[A] survivor of the events according to the official version was a kidnap victim freed by soldiers, who later said only one person died in the clash and the others were killed by the military after surrendering."
